The students were told they could use a variety of tools to help them find as many different answers as possible. I was so proud to see the students trying to use the different tools in the classroom like counters, the hundreds chart and rekenreks. After, we all came together to share our strategies for solving the problem. Then, we created this chart to document our possible answers.
