“Heart” Questions

Today, we talked more about “heart” questions. We learned that we need to use our own experiences and ideas to answer these questions.

To practise asking hand and heart questions, the students broke into small groups; each group chose a book to read independently. While reading, students recorded their before, during and after questions on a two-sided sheet, differentiating between hand and heart questions.

After, we shared a brief blurb about our books and one example of each type of question.
