Today we read more of Hey, Little Ant. Before reading, the students were told to focus on what the kid is telling us and his point of view about ants. After reading, we worked as a class to answer the question: What is the kid telling us?
Then we reread the story, this time focusing on the ant’s point of view. After, the students answered the question: What is the ant telling us?
