Missing Numbers

In Grade One, we practise counting from numbers other than 1. An example would be starting at 14 and counting up by 1’s: 14, 15, 16… Today, in Math, we played a game to help us practise this skill called Missing Numbers

For some of the “bigger numbers” we used a hundred chart to help us find the missing number.

We will use this tool often throughout the year; it is a great way to see the patterns that exist when counting, adding and subtracting.
